He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Peterson Jr. and Isolene Sutton Pope; and his sons, James Darrell Sutton and Christopher Lee Sutton. He is survived by: his wife Lora Sutton of Salemburg, NC; and his children, Anthony Sutton of Raleigh, NC, Colby Sutton of Salemburg, NC and Wanda Henry of Clinton, NC. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
