It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice Elizabeth Gray of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Reid Gray, Sr.; her sister Dorothy Williams McGehee; and her grandson Gray Felton Butler. She is survived by: her children, Linda Gray Crocker (Elmer) of Kenly, NC, Janet Gray Butler (Frank) of Clinton, NC, Anne Gray Mercer (Michael) of Bailey, NC, Donald Reid Gray, Jr. (Susan) of Lakeland and Paul Marshall Gray (Deanna) of Woodstock, Georgia; and her grandchildren, Anthony Crocker (Pamela), Penny Rhodes (Howard), Rhonda Hinton (James), James Gray (Nicole), Robert Gray (Lisa), Elizabeth Hadley (Graham), Rebecca Hales (Clark), Reid Butler (Leigh), Austin Mercer (Caroline), Jesse Mercer, Luke Mercer and Kyle Gray. She is also survived by 23 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
