He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James (Emma Register) and Bernard; his son Antonio Thompson; his grandchildren, Tyniq Thompson of Turkey and Tyvon Thompson of Turkey; his siblings, James Ray Register (Peggy) of Clinton, NC, Winfred Odell Register (Brenda) of Turkey, NC, Dennis Register of Dudley, NC, Doris Ann Tillery (Willie) of Magnolia, NC and Debbie Register; his aunt Ruth Beamon of Manhattan, NY; and his close friend Tonya Jackson of Clinton, NC.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Hope Valley Hawkins Funeral Chapel (1246 Hobbton Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Pauls Church of Christ (1794 Turkey Hwy, Clinton, NC 28328).
