She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Margaret Wellington and James Gordon Hairr. She is survived by: her son Ricky Boyette (Rebecca) of Dover, NC; her brother Ronnie Hairr of Roseboro; and her grandsons, Aaron Boyette and Dustin Dudley. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
