She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Caison and Bettie Caison; her spouses, Francis Hargrove (Hotdog) and Dr. Glenn E Best Sr.; and her daughter Carolyn Gentry.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Hargrove Bell (Joe), Ted Best (Pam), Gayanne Best Freedman (Robert), Charlotte Best and Glenn Best, Jr. (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Dan Freedman, Tracey McCarrick, Charlotte Gentry, Leigh Gentry Atkinson, Rob Gentry, Glenn Best, III, Leann Norris, Jodie Bell, Jonathan Bell and Rachel Best.
