He was predeceased by: his parents, Burnes Kersey and Rosie Cashwell Kersey; and his sister Carol Kersey Dudley. He is survived by: his former wife Robin Kersey (Shelly); his siblings, Alice Ezzell (Glen) and Ricky Kersey (Donna); his siblings' children, John Junior Shipp and Ashley Kersey; and his brother-in-law Frank Dudley. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
