She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie McCullen Sr. and Lillie Straughn McCullen; her siblings, Charlie McCullen Junior (Eleanor), Manley McCullen (Margaret), Margaret McCullen Butler (Ed), Mildred McCullen Daughtry (Clifton) and Gladys McCullen Bass (Shelton); her nephews, Tommy Butler, Ronnie McCullen and Brent Daughtry; and her brother-in-law Tim Bethune.
She is survived by: her husband W. E. Bethune; her daughter Summer Bethune Berry (Scott Berry); her granddaughters, Savannah and Scarlett; her nephew Terry Bass (Marsha); her niece Charlene Bass; and her sister-in-law Donna Bethune. She is also survived by numerous great-nephews, great-nieces, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Snyder Memorial Baptist Church (701 Westmont Dr, Fayetteville, NC 28305). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Grandview Memorial Park (2809 US-421, Clinton, NC 28328).
