She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Thornton and Bessie Thornton; her husband Henry Everette Britt; and her siblings, Katie Hawley White, Audie Edwards and Carlton "Tot" Thornton.

She is survived by: her sons, Danny Everette Britt (Vicki) of Clinton and Roger Neal Britt (Deborah) of Youngsville, NC.; her granddaughters, Paige Britt Byrd (Charles) of Wake Forest, NC and Natalie Britt Zavareei (Hassan) of Rockville, Maryland.; her great grandchildren, Madison Paige Byrd of San Franciso, CA, Chandler Britt Byrd of Boston, MA, Charles Daniel Byrd of Raleigh, NC, Hayden Victoria Zavareei of Champaign, IL, Jordan Britt Zavareei of Denver, CO and Isabella Marino Zavareei of Richmond, VA; and her sister Ester Wise of Grantham, NC. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
