He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Butler and William Curtis Butler; and his siblings, Aljerin Lee, William Tyson, Manly Butler, Callie Coaxum, Davetter Shepard and Ruby Mae Butler.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Jackson and Heather White. He is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
