We are sad to announce that, on May 10, 2023, at the age of 78, Daisy Mae Underwood Smith of Clinton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Edgar Turner and Lizzie Jane Lucas Turner; her husband William Howard "Billy" Underwood; and her sisters, Dorothy Jones, Josephine Davis, Rena Britt and Louise Street.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dee Dee Underwood, Marie Underwood (Omar) and Betsy Tyner (Ronnie); her grandchildren, Angel Smith, Johnathan Avery (Devan), Ashley Royal (Tommy), Aaron Tyner (Caroline) and Blake Tyner (Savanna); and her sisters, Edna Byrd, Barbara Magon (Raymond) and Naomi Eaton (Mark). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Colonial Heights Freewill Baptist Church for the Building Fund.
