He is survived by: his wife Mildred Bennett; his children, Cynthia Boomer of Clinton, NC, Stephanie Smith of Clinton, NC and David Bennett of Clinton, NC; and his siblings, Velma Bennett of Dunn, NC, Betty Bennett of Clinton, NC, Phyllis Bennett of Clinton, NC, Cynthia Bennett of Garner, NC, Teresa Bennett of Salemburg, NC, Nathaniel Bennett of Boone, NC, Joseph Bennett of Midway, GA, Raeford Bennett of Clinton, NC and Kenneth Bennett of Garner, NC. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
