David Jackson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Jackson of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Dewey and Laura Elizabeth Crowley Jackson; and his brothers, William Dewey Jackson and James Eugene Jackson. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Becky" Smith Jackson; his children, Melissa Jackson Mullinix (Barrow Arthur Koslosky) of Charleston, WV, Julie Jackson Blackman (Michael Douglas) of Newton Grove, Jason Michael Taylor (Andrea Leigh) of Cornelius, NC, Jonathan Mark Taylor of Gastonia, NC and Jeremy Matthew Taylor (Sarah Efird) of Stanfield, NC.; his grandchildren, Lauren Elizabeth Mullinix, Olivia Paige Jackson, Robert Jackson Lee, Jenna Stuart Lee, Everett Lawrence Jackson, Jason Michael Taylor, Jr., Grace Victoria Taylor, Elizabeth Claire Taylor, Hannah Margaret Blackman, Michaela Susanne Bailey and Alexandra Sutton Blackman; his brothers, Dr. Douglas Jackson (Kathie) of Red Springs and Donald Jackson (Faye) of Winston-Salem; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Jackson and Ellen Hursey Jackson; and his caregivers, Dorothy Scrivner Donis, Camelia Worley and Ashley Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
