She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Smith and Daniel William Yost Sr.; her husband Vander Ray Outlaw; and her grandson Nelson Heath. She is survived by: her children, Connie Bradshaw (George) of Clinton, NC, Patricia Barbour (Kevin) of Roseboro, NC, Dianna Rae Wise (Jimmy) of Shallotte, NC, Vander Outlaw Jr. (Jennifer) of Daytona Beach, FL and Daniel Outlaw (Bryn) of Bolivia, NC.; and her sister Susan Yost McCumbers. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
