He was predeceased by: his parents, James Woodrow Turner and Odell Warren Turner; and his siblings, Jerri Ellis, Trudy Turner Barnhill and Jimmy Turner, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Louise Strickland Turner; his children, Deborah Kidd (William) and Donnie Turner, Jr. (Kathy); his grandchildren, Mallory Lopez Turner (Miguel), Justin Cruz Turner (Becky), Nicholas Faircloth (Laura) and Jessica Thornton (Zach); and his siblings, Norma Turner Williford (Pete) and Rudy Wayne Turner (Roseanne). He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
