She was predeceased by: her father Roy J. West; and her siblings, Betsy W. Guthrie and Roy Devone West. She is survived by: her siblings, Edna W. Barker of Clinton, Marie W. Martin of Sneads Ferry, Judy W. Rimel (Harry) of Raleigh, Jimmy V. West of Salemburg and Larry J. West of King, NC. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
