He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade Franklin Peterson and Annie Laurie Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Emma Maynard Peterson; and his children, Vickie Peterson Morrison (Kenneth), Dwight Linwood "Pete" Peterson, Jr. and Laurie Peterson Adkins (Jeff). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
