With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elbert Cannady of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anson Cannady and Mildred Page Cannady; his brother Johnny Cannady; and his brother-in-law Larry Carter. He is survived by: his wife Janie Autry Cannady; his brother Quincy Cannady (Becky) of Hampstead; his sister-in-law Betty Carter; his aunt Margie Page; his cousin Linda Chestnutt; and his close friends, Debbie Tew (Howard), Wanda Bleacher (Jeff), Renee Gallagher (Joe) and Jeremy Gallagher (Miranda). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
