He is survived by: his wife Landis Coleman Ammons; his daughters, Bridget Brewington and Ashley Ammons; his grandchildren, Markus Richardson (Janalee), Matthew Brewington and McKinley Brewington; his great grandchildren, Lawsyn Richardson and Hazelyn Richardson; and his siblings, Elvis Ammons, Wayne Ammons, Frances Simmons (Sam), Vickie Powell (Craven) and Janet Jordan (Dwayne).
