We are sad to announce that on June 2, 2025, at the age of 91, Emerson McNeill Canady (Clinton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Canady and Ada Canady; and his siblings, Frank Jr., Vann, Lorraine, Charles, Peggy, Ruby and Smoot.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Hollingsworth Canady; his daughters, Melody Scott (Wayne) and Jennifer Dunlap; his granddaughters, Angie McNeill (Cliff) and Gina Roberts (Frankie); his great grandchildren, Ashley Moore (Doni), Ashley Guillory (Anthony) and Jamee Lynn Grice (Josh); his great great grandchildren, Nick, Raylan, Isabella, James, Sabrina, Justin and Freya; and his nieces and nephews, Wendy Swan (Dennis), Ada Faye Bramble, Paul Bridgeman (Kathy) and Tim Dunn (Susan).
A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Green Springs Baptist Church.
