She was predeceased by: her father Rob Howard; her husband Duet Tatum; her son Lenburg Underwood Jr.; and her siblings, Cleo Howard, Nathaniel Howard, Robert Howard and Elnita Howard.

She is survived by: her mother-in-law Lizzie Mae Keith Howard; her children, Linda Howard of Fayetteville, Connie Howard of Clinton and Willie Howard of Garland; her stepson Cliff Powell of Red Hook, NY; and her friend Connie Howard.
