She was predeceased by: her sister Patricia Bass Shipp; and her stepfather Robert Carter. She is survived by: her sons, Zack McCullen III (Dottie) of Clinton and Granville Tracy McCullen (Heather) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, Zack "Zeke" McCullen IV (Natalie), Mary Brown and Emily Catherine McCullen; her great grandchildren, Hugh and Holt McCullen; and her sisters, Ann Starling of Clinton, Kaye Bryan of Asheboro and Vicki Britt (Danny) of Clinton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
