He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oscar and Dorothy Melvin Tew; and his brother Charles Gene Tew. He is survived by: his daughter Jessie Tew of Clinton; and his sisters, Wanda Hunter of Clinton and Sandra Tew of Mt. Olive. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
