He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Simpson Perdie; his stepson Michael Simpson; his daughter Shina Simpson; his grandchildren, Ayana Simpson (Garland), Kayla, Sumicca and Jayla Simpson; his great grandchildren, Azyanna, Ariana, Kayden and Aayden Simpson (Garland); his sister Carolyn Simpson (Harry) of Roseboro; and his siblings-in-law, Bobby Simpson of Roseboro and Jessie Mae Williams of Wilson.
