With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerline Best (Clinton, North Carolina), who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Vinson "Boss" Honeycutt and Otha Hairr Honeycutt; her husband Wilbert Best; her daughter Sandra Gail West; and her brothers, Larry and Tony Honeycutt.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Judy Tew (Glenn) of Fayetteville and Dennis Best (Beverly) of Clinton; her grandchildren, Timothy Lee Naylor, J. R. Naylor (Miles), Karen Crawford (Tony), Kelly Wright (Brandon), Kay Alford, Lesley Reeves (Byron) and Karmen Best; her great grandchildren, Sandra Aaliyah Naylor, Timothy Lee Naylor II, Caleb Naylor, Hailey Cruz (Jacob), Tyler Crawford, Emma Grace Alford, Charleigh Reeves, Stella Reeves, Gabbi Cruz, Matti Cruz and Isabelle Cruz; and her siblings, Ondra Tew (Claude) of Eastover, NC. and Paul Wendel Honeycutt of Salemburg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and special friends.
