He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandfather Christian; his parents, Dr. Glenn Eben Best Sr. and Charlotte Cooper Best; his sister Carolyn; his stepmother Betty Gene Best; his caregiver Muriel Lee Jackson; his wife Brenda Grey Best; his children, Glenn E Best III (Jane Marie) and LeAnn Best Norris (Michael); his grandchildren, Eben, Cadence, Larkin and Haley; and his siblings, Gay Anne Best Freedman (Robert), Charlotte Best, Theodore "Ted" Best (Pam) and Jean Bell (Joe). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the Clinton Family Worship Center (103 Raiford St, Clinton, NC 28328). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Clinton City Cemetery (103 Raiford St, Clinton, NC 28328).
