With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Hazelene Bass of Clinton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2026 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Holland (Rich) and Anderson Holland; her spouse Willie Campbell "W. C." Bass, Jr.; her daughter Rebecca Anne Blue (Bass); and her sister Frances Holland Spell.
She is survived by: her son W. Clayton Bass (Hester) of Santa Fe; her son-in-law Jim Blue of Laurinburg; her grandchildren, Jimmy Blue (Blaire) of Burlington, Anderson Bass of Watertown, Massachusetts and Miranda Bass of Studio City, California; and her great grandchildren, Lyda and Iver Blue of Burlington.
