With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Godwin of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Holland and Daisy King Holland; her husband Bertus Godwin; her children, Sharon Godwin Nanagas and William Douglas Godwin; and her siblings, Billy Holland and Peggy McKenzie.
She is survived by: her daughter Bonnie Godwin King (Roy); her son-in-law Jeff Nanagas (Jean); and her grandchildren, Justin Nanagas, Sean Nanagas (Virginia), Cassidy King and Ashlyn King.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Mary's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
