It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard L. Hobson of Clinton, North Carolina, born in Raeford, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stacy Hobson and Irene Hobson; his brother David Lewis Hobson; his daughter Kathryn; and his nephew Bill Guy, Jr..

He is survived by: his wife Helen Langdon Hobson; his son David Howard Hobson (Jana) of Clinton; his siblings, Helen Huffman (Linwood) of Raeford and Bill Guy Sr. (Edna Rose) of High Point; and his granddaughters, Emma Langdon Hobson and Kate Norris Hobson.
