We are sad to announce that, on November 16, 2022, at the age of 94, Irene Darden of Clinton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Avery Gainey and Mary Pope Gainey; and her husband Marion Hester Darden. She is survived by: her children, Ann D. O'Donnell of Florence, SC, Debbie D. Eaves (Steve) of Clayton, Dwight Darden (LaRue) of Clinton, Victor Darden (Glenda) of Newton Grove, NC and Vickie D. Giddens (Carroll) of Newton Grove. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
