He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Elmore and Walton Xyvon Bass; his sister Martha Ann Bass; and his friend JW Warren. He is survived by: his significant other Dixie Jordan; his extended family, Jeff, Dana, Jayna Jones of Clinton, Selma Owen, Caroline and Arnold Sandy of Roseboro; his stepchildren, Adam Rowe (Debbie), Jason Rowe (Kristi) and Linda Rowe Williamson (Keith) of Kentucky; and his stepfather Milton Bass (Donna) of Roseboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to fund the Veteran Family Dove Hunt sponsored by Kitty Fork Outdoors and North Carolina Handicapped Sportsmen Organization.
