It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James McCoy Farmer (Clinton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, James shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid James farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Prentis Farmer and Louise Elizabeth Bass Farmer; his wife Maudie Marlowe Farmer; and his grandson James Farmer, III. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Farmer, BeLinda Thompson and James Farmer, Jr.; and his brother Charles Farmer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
