He was predeceased by: his parents, James Moore Marshburn and Mary Thomas Torrace Marshburn. He is survived by: his children, David Michael Marshburn of Clinton and Becky Marshburn (Jennifer) of Castle Hayne; his grandchildren, Michael Badger Marshburn and Isabella "Bella" Marshburn; his great grandchildren, James Tyler Marshburn, Matthew Ethan Marshburn (Morgan) and Morgan Taylor Marshburn (Cameron); and his great great grandchildren, Hunner Winters, Raelynn Marshburn, Hudson Winters and Easton James Marshburn.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rowan Baptist Church (701 Rowan Rd, Clinton, NC 28328). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
