He was predeceased by: his brother Trampas Jennings Simmons; his grandparents, Mary Ward, Alene Simmons, Tommie Dale Ward and Billy Simmons; his aunt Barbara Naylor; and his uncles, Keith Naylor, Thomas Ward, Roy Simmons and Danny Woodell.
He is survived by: his parents, Rexton Simmons and Linda Simmons; his daughter Michelle Woodell; his siblings, Thomas Wayne Woodell of Clinton, John Henry Woodell of Clinton and Toni Simmons (David) of Clinton; his nieces, Alexis Lynn Simmons of Salemburg and Stormi Rayne Haynes of Clinton; his cousins, Amy Naylor Lockamy (Doug), Norman (Rosa) of Clinton, Mike of Clinton and Georgianna Adubato of Clinton; and also, Sherry Fann (Keith), Leanna Fann, Dennis Coughlin, Thomas Coughlin, Christine, Christina Taylor, Jr., Cathy Woodell, Valerie Ward, William Ward (Donna) and Crystal Faircloth (Eric).
