He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Wyche Hatch and Leaster Jackson Hatch; and his brother Michael Hatch. He is survived by: his wife Jean Blinson Hatch; his daughters, Camille H. Frederick (Steve) of Goldsboro and Casey H. Carson (Daniel) of Clayton; his siblings, Sue H. Smith (Ronny) of Clinton, Johnny Hatch (Kay) of Four Oaks and Jim Hatch (June) of Leland; his sister-in-law Linda Hatch of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Dellaney, Blinson, Jo Claire, Hadley, Leah Gray, Georgia Lynn, Zeb Frederick, Sydney (Michael Johnson), Summer and Savannah Carson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church or to Gideons International.
