He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Wright and Virgie Mae Hill Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Mary Margaret Kelly Hobbs; his children, Christopher N. Hobbs (Jessica) and Mary Katherine Hobbs; his grandson Benjamin Hobbs; and his brothers, John Allen Hobbs (Patricia) and Cecil Wright Hobbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Methodist Church (208 Sampson St, Clinton, NC 28328).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may also be made to First Methodist Church of Clinton.
