He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Remell Epps Jacobs and Jessie Jacobs of Maryland; his stepfather Vernell Jacobs; his brothers, Norman Bailey Jacobs and Delford Ray Jacobs; his children, Jessica Jacobs and Mickey Jacobs of Eldorado Springs; and the mother of his children Judy Jacobs.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Angela Jacobs, Jessie Jacobs, Joseph Jacobs, Michael Jacobs and Merleanne Jacobs; his great grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams, Jasmin Williams, Aleah Williams, Jaylin Jacobs, Greg Bowles and Donavon Bowles; his sister Doris Elaine Jacobs; and his close friend Janice Bare. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
A reception will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the McEwen Funeral Service Pineville Chapel (10500 Park Rd, Charlotte, NC 28210).
