He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Spell and Mary Louise Simmons Spell; his son Billy Bradley Spell; his siblings, Vivian Smith, Greta Knowles, Linda Britt, Homer Spell and Wayne Spell; and his grandchildren, Billy Bradley Spell, Jr. and Megan Dale Bradshaw.
He is survived by: his wife Louise Mason Spell; his daughters, Charlotte Smith (James) of Clinton and Sharon Bradshaw (Roger) of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Brandy-Shannon, Brandy Michelle Cerda, Amanda Momin, Ashley Sinclair, Jaxson Smith, Crystal Gray, Cassie Bradshaw, Dalton Bradshaw and Cortney Bradshaw. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
