He is survived by: his brother Robert Bennett; his children, Yolanda Bennett Pridgen (Kevin) and Johnnie Ray Bennett Jr.; his grandchildren, Aaliyah Bennett of Clinton and Johnae'Bennett of Goldsboro; his great grandchildren, Karter Bennett-Faison of Clinton and Braiylan Bennett of Goldsboro; and his nephews, Elbert Bennett III of Wetumpka, Alabama and Neice (Hope Young). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
