He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Berger and Blanche Sacks Berger. He is survived by: his wife Juanita Berger; and his children, Deborah Thurston, Wendy Best, Richard Berger and Rebecca Elliott. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
