He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Geddie and Loraine Vail Butler; his wife Nancy Latimer Butler; his children, Matt Butler, Ashley Butler Montgomery (Robbie) and Katie Butler Starling (Eric); his grandsons, Drew, Gray Montgomery, Rivers and Rhett Starling; his siblings, Ben Butler (Jane) of Raleigh and Katherine Barkin (Dan) of Clayton; his close friends, Shirley Mae Butler and Ernest Caldwell; Loraine Butler of Newton Grove. He was also cherished by many sisters/brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Tim's Gift and First Baptist Church.
