It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Williams of Clinton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 28, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Williams to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett A. Williams and Maggie Baggett Williams; and his brothers, Dwight Williams, Sr., Gibson Williams, Sr., Thomas Williams and Sherrill Williams.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Vann Williams; his children, Mary Jo Carr (Hugh) of Clinton and Steve Williams (Delores) of Clinton; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Williams (CharlesAnna), Reed Williams (Brittany), Kathryn W. Waters (Ryan), Elizabeth C. Andrews (Phillip), Sarah C. Stone (Matt), Hannah C. Baxter (Tyler) and Rachel C. Grantham (Dalton). He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hopewell United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 4641 Church Road, Newton Grove, NC 28366.
