She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Guinn and Myrtle Guinn; her husband A. W. "Wink" Melson; and her siblings, Larry D. Guinn, Wilma G. Brown and Carole G. Robinson.
She is survived by: her children, Gail M. Catena (Robert) of Fayetteville and Patricia L. Melson of Clinton; her grandchildren, Susan W. Peppers (William), Christopher N. McMillan (Kate) and Stacey C. Barr of Fayetteville; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Cassidy, Cohen, Jackson and Cameron; and her great great grandchild Maci Gray.
