With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Judy Ann Simmons (Clinton, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 29, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Judson Hobbs and Malvene Royal Hobbs; her husband Donald Ray Simmons; her son Kenneth Ray Simmons; and her brother Thomas Dale Hobbs.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna Simmons Boone (Mike); her daughter-in-law Holly Ray Simmons; her grandchildren, Dawn Boone Daughtry (Derek) and Dylan Ray Simmons; her great grandchildren, Isabella Reese "Belle" Daughtry and Alley Ray Daughtry; her stepgrandsons, Ryan Burgess and Alston Burgess (Mary Michael); and her brother Dwight Hobbs (Patsy). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
