She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Eula Webb Hughes and Dan Hughes; and her siblings, Diane Hollingsworth and Randall "Randy" Hyde. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Thornton; her children, Tommy Lee Hill and Sandra Thornton Febres (Pedro); her grandchildren, Christopher Robert Hill (Christina), Coty Lee Hill (Amber), Sydney Marie Febres and Nicholas Chale Febres; her great grandchildren, Alexxis Nichole Carol Hill, Bentley Nicholas Hill and Elijah Brantley Medlin; her sister Melinda Fuller (Rus); and her nieces and nephews, Tammy Akers, Daniel Hollingsworth, Timothy Hyde, Tracey Stephenson and Anthony Hyde. She is also survived by 11 great nieces and nephews.
