He is survived by: his children, Santana Melvin (Brantley) and James Lucas Tyndall (Amanda); his grandchildren, Gavin Lockwood, Damon Tyndall, Abigail Melvin, Casey Eve Tyndall and Brantley Melvin, Jr.; and his sister Julia Hairr (Timothy).
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Roseboro Cemetery (3605 S Salemburg Hwy, Roseboro, NC 28382).
