He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Stambaugh and Evelyn Stambaugh (Shisler); his brother Tymothy Leroy Stambaugh; and his uncle James Stambaugh Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Cathy Ann Stambaugh (Harris); his daughters, Jaime Beth McNeill and Megan Diane Shaw; his grandchildren, Kelsey Mae McNeill, Bailee Elisabeth Shaw, Brianna Nicole McNeill, Larry Dale McNeill Jr., Riley Ann Shaw, Emberly Kay Shaw and Shelby Lynn Shaw; his mother-in-law Shirley Mae DeWeese; his sons-in-law, Larry Dale McNeill and Andy Lee Shaw; his siblings, Cheryl Trissel (Ron) and Harold Stambaugh; and his aunt Sally Stambaugh. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Duplin Sampson Group Homes.
