He was predeceased by: his parent Allie Avery; his wife Beverly Baldwin Avery; and his brothers, Ronnie Williams and Stanley Williams. He is survived by: his daughter Candace King (John) of Faison, NC; his sister Teresa Williams of Fayetteville, NC; and his grandchildren, John Thomas King of Faison, Hailey Taylor (Thomas) of Brinson City, Kimberly Proctor of Florida, Annilse Taylor, Axel Nelson and Rose Nelson.
