He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jean Haire and William Haire; his wife Teresa Reeves; his son Dylan Haire; his stepdaughters, Malisa Reeves of Florida and Crystal Reeves of Raleigh, NC; his siblings, William Michael Haire, Amanda Bracken of Dunn and Connie Scott; his aunt Rose Adams of Dunn; his siblings-in-law, Kendell Green and Leah Cole of Dunn; his mother-in-law Jeraldine Harris of Raleigh, NC; and his nieces, Jennifer McLamb of Broadway, NC and Charita Allen of Erwin, NC. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
