He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Katherine Whitted; his daughter Luciane "Denice" Barksdale; his grandchildren, Ladaja Brown (Antwan), Zaiquian Barksdale, Dorona Graham, Tyniq "Baby Doll" Thompson and Tyvon Thompson; his great grandchildren, Ramir Mallety, Laila, Noah and Avonni Barksdale; his aunts, Lulean Williamson and Imogene Whitted; his godson LaVonte Singleton; and his cousins, Valentine Rice, Allison Williamson, Ron, Christopher and Anthony Whitted.
