She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonza White Barber and Sue Carol Tyndall Barber; her husband Douglas Lynn Pope, Sr.; and her brother Wilbert Barber. She is survived by: her children, Douglas Lynn Pope, Jr. (Colleen) of Clinton and Susie Pope Phillips (Neil) of Roseboro; her grandchildren, Vander Phillips, Evander Pope, Nathan Pope, Avery Phillips, Annielynn Pope and Wyatt Phillips; and her siblings, Julie Autry (Michael), Jimmy Barber (Lois), Duke Barber, Dwight Barber (Cynthia) and Charles Barber (Teresa).
